After years of driving by this place on Convoy, I finally made the move to stop by and enjoy some food - and I am happy that I did! My first impression of this spot was how big and spacious the dining areas are both inside and outside. The décor gives classic Mexican American SoCal energy as everything is adorned with staple Mexican pinatas, colors, and cultural items - as a Mexican myself, I knew the food was going to hit simply based off the vibes. My second impression was how much an expansive menu this place has. They have everything you could possibly think of when it comes to Mexican food - the best part is that they have pictures of everything on the menu. The combos, options, and prices were all solid. My third and final impression was on how tasty the food was! I ordered their two smaller quesabirria taco combo with rice and beans (around $17). The food came out quickly and HOT. The consume was flavorful, but I have had better consumes at other places. The tacos were bomb! Cheesy, saucy, gooey, crunchy, and dripping with consume. I do wish the birria itself also had just a bit more flavor, but the birria was still tasty. I heavily judge the quality of a Mexican restaurant's food by their beans and rice, and I am happy to report that they were both great. I will for sure be coming back to try more of their menu. I will have to try their drive-thru next time. Overall, I am happy to add this Mexican taco spot with a drive-thru to my rotation of places in San Diego. I have a feeling the rest of their menu will be just as yummy. 4/5!

Came for a Cali burrito and for the price it's a great size. Cali contains pico but does not come with sour cream and guacamole. Has a self serve salsa bar and I would recommend the orange salsa.

My hubby and I have been to this location multiple times since we live close by and have been impressed every single time. It's a little mom and pop shop and the food and service here is always amazing. Most recently ordered a breakfast burrito and asked for it to be cut in half and it was huge! It has ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, potato, beans, and cheese and is super filling and delicious

I'm glad this is on Convoy. I don't think I've ever had something here that I didn't like. I really like the way they do their taquitos and the people at the drive thru window are always nice. That drive through window is really convenient. I should try eating in sometime.
